Both books examine the psychology
behind the main character: What is the protagonist’s reaction to situations
that seem to be beyond their control?
What motivates them to do what they do?
What do they hope for during the story and at the end?
Your Response to either book is to
do the following:
1. Read the entire book!
2. Write/keep a journal of the sections
you read: 10 points per day of reading x 15 days = 150 points.
•Either daily, as you read, take the time to write a sentence
or two so you don’t forget the events,
•OR
•Weekly, after the sections, write a paragraph or two about
the sections you read.
3. Complete the Test. Resources
to help with the test are found here.
